new construction projects
- We are continually on the look-out for funding opportunities for the construction of new homes for home ownership or rental. Although these opportunities are often limited, we are developing plans with the community for new projects in anticipation of future funding opportunities.
- The redevelopment and revitalization of Rainbow Village to address extreme conditions of soil erosion, structural damage, and utility disrepair has been presented to the community. With the submission of a proposal for 2011 ICDBG on 10/27/2010, we hope to receive funding for the first phase of the project. Initial site analysis and design may begin as early as 12/2010. (Project #1003).
new rehabilitation projects
- We will continually address the home renovation needs of the community as funding becomes available. The waiting list for home renovation is maintained by the Tenant Services Office, and is provided to the Construction Management Office for project development in response to available funds for rehabilitation.
- The RFP and bidding process for the rehabilitation and/or roofing of 47 homes was completed the second week of November 2010. Construction activity is projected to begin in January 2011. (Projects #905/906).
completed projects
- We are pleased to announce the completion of several projects, which has increased the availability of housing for tribal members. Projects consist of both new construction and rehabilitation of existing traditional and HUD homes.

New Construction of 18 Lease/Purchase Modular Units. (Project #908).
New Construction of 4 Modular Units for Home Ownership. (Project #909).
